- Constructed of durable stamped steel with rounded corners in a beautiful stainless steel finish with 2-1/8 inch on center mounting holes
- Designed for use with door latch hardware on hinged swinging doors with 1-5/8 inch on center mounting holes that are 2-1/4 in tall, 1-7/16 inch width and strike lip projection of 5/16 inch
- Features industry standard design and includes all installation fasteners
- Do not over tighten the mounting screws as you can cause damage to the strikeplate
- Please refer to the line art drawing for dimensions and compare with your needs before purchasing (not Universal)
These standard latch strikes are constructed of stainless steel and come in a satin finish. They feature an adjustable tab designed to eliminate the door slop and chatter of closed doors, and theyâ€™re installed with two #8 x 1 in. fasteners included with each package. These latch strikes are used by many to replace most residential interior and exterior door strikes. * Adjustment tip: To eliminate the loose rattling of a closed door, remove the strike plate and bend the tab slightly with a pair of pliers, adjusting left to right as necessary.
