It seeks to familiarize you with the techniques of positioning the patient, the tubehead, and film as well as exposing and processing dental radiographs. A knowledge of radiography is essential to understanding the dangers inherent in the use of X-rays.
Radiographs are used to help make diagnoses. There are examples in this course of commonly produced radiographs.
