This rugged deadbolt short bar device with a steel plate is battery alarmed with an included 9 volt battery. The photoluminescent emergency sign absorbs light and will glow in the dark when lights are out or dimmed. This code compliant emergency exit device is an excellent choice for secondary exits when security is an issue and a great way to prevent theft. It will alert control personnel of an unauthorized exit when the alarm system is heard. It features a 100 decibel alarm powered by an included 9 volt battery making it a completely wireless alarm system. The alarm can only be reset with a control key. Unlocking and locking the deadbolt will always arm and disarm the alarm plus the lock body is corrosion resistant.
