Galveston oyster cutters are generally wood or synthetic handled with a long strong blade. The blade may be a little broader than the Boston version of the Oyster knife but they are known for being especially rigid and tough. The Dexter-Russell 4‚¬ Galveston-Style Oyster Knife ‚¬€œ Sani-Safe Series (S137PCP) is no different. With a straight blade edge and a slightly rounded tip this oyster knife is suitable for entering oyster shells puncturing the meat and prying open the shell. The Grip-Tex handle allows for slip-free usage.
