The Dino-Lite Edge Series AM5216ZTL offers the latest sensor technology to capture impressive images throughout the full 10x~140x range of magnification. Additional upgrades from the AM4116ZTL include more sensitive polarization, 60 FPS video feed at 1024 x 768 resolution, greater working distance range and standard 15-pin VGA output. Simply plug a standard VGA (DE15, D-SUB) cable into the VGA adapter on the microscope cord and plug directly into your computer monitor for fast, convenient imaging results without complicating software. The enhanced CMOS sensor provides striking color rendition, 1024 x 768 resolution and real time imaging at up to 60 fps. This new model also features a second-generation housing with a smoother focus wheel movement and a handy thumb wheel scroll lock.  Once your magnification is set, slide the tab to the "Lock" position to secure the thumb-wheel. This keeps your image in sharp focus without further effort, a real time-saver when handling the microscope during repetitive observations. Finally, it includes a reinforced USB cable for improved durability and protection.
