Cutting the band too loose cannot protect the sensor. We recommend starting with a looser fit, then testing it out and adjusting incrementally for your perfect fit. The armband is designed to be easily taken on and off with the security clasp at your own discretion. NOTE: the total length (band and clasp) is 19 inches.
