Description

  • WHY IT MATTERS: you can play more outdoor settings like drum circles without hassle since the djembe requires little to no maintenance; the Alpine Djembe is always ready to go from beaches to parks to open mic night
  • HOW IT WORKS: the shell and head are 100% all-weather synthetic material, so they won't expand or contract with changes in weather which can affect tuning and longevity; this material also resists dents/scratches and cuts down weight
  • ONE BIG THING: this djembe is equipped with Piezo pickups and a 1/4" jack to boost your signal through an amplifier or PA system; control volume with the knob on the side of the shell (cables not included)
  • HOW TO ADJUST PITCH: includes a tuning wrench to make quick adjustments or head changes; tighten the steel tension rods for a higher pitch and loosen to drop pitch (djembe comes pre-tuned)
  • BY THE NUMBERS: shell measures 12" wide x 24" tall and weighs about 8 lbs; head measures 12" with a 10" playing area (head is slightly larger than the playing area because it wraps around and down the rim)
