The García-Carrión farming tradition had its origin in Jumilla, Spain centuries ago. Our ancestors who owned the vineyards produced grapes and sold the wine at their own winery. In 1890, Jose García Carrión’s great grandfather built a new winery that was ahead of its time.
The Tempranillo grapes are harvested at the optimum moment, and thanks to the prefermentative maceration we extract the characteristic aromas of the most famous variety of Spain.
Bright and clean ruby red of medium intensity. Ripe fruity aromas of strawberry and black fruit, with cherry notes standing out. Also, some floral spicy touches, such as violets and licorice. With a medium structure in the palate, it is round and easy to drink.
Pair with pizza or burgers. It’s also great with starters such as cheeses and charcuterie boards.
