APPLICABLE SURFACES: The 4910 (1mm thickness) Double-Sided Tape bonds effectively with various substrates, including aluminum, steel, glass, marble, tile, powder-coated paints, composites, plastics, and hardwoods. However, it’s not suitable for heavily textured surfaces or painted walls, as it may remove paint upon removal. Its unique viscoelastic properties provide strong adhesion to both high and low surface energy materials, making it ideal for diverse projects.
PRODUCT APPLICATIONS: 4910 Super Sticky Dual Sided Tape offers strong adhesion, supporting moderate to heavy mounting with peel adhesion up to 15 lb/in, tensile strength up to 100 lb/square inch on stainless steel. It is safe for smooth surfaces and commonly used for edge bond resin filled glass, trims, car registration plates, name plates, stiffener to panel, metal mailboxes, power strips, and various construction, signage to electronics, automotive, home and office decorations.
SMOOTH FINISH: Enjoy virtually fastening that keeps surfaces smooth and aesthetically pleasing. 4910 tape replaces traditional mechanical fasteners such as screws, rivets, and welding, eliminating unsightly bumps and holes. This not only enhances the appearance of your projects but also allows for a clean and seamless finish. Ideal for applications where aesthetics matter, this tape helps you achieve a polished look without compromising on strength or durability.
USER GUIDELINES: For optimal bond strength, thoroughly clean surfaces with a 50:50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water. Apply tape when temperatures are between 70°F to 100°F (21°C - 38°C), allowing the bond to set for 72 hours with hard press. Initial tape application to surfaces at temperatures below 50°F (10°C) is not recommended because the adhesive becomes too firm to adhere readily. However, once properly applied, low temperature holding is generally satisfactory.
