- Provides a protective barrier coating around O-rings preventing them from drying out and extending their lifespan.
- 0.2 oz single use packet is enough for installation of a water filtration system, a little goes a long way.
- Molykote 111 has good resistance to most chemicals, Low vapor pressure and low volatility. It iss insoluble in water, methanol, ethanol,or mineral oil, and has a wide servce temperature range from -40F to 392F
O-ring Silicone Lubricant helps to provide a good seal and to prevent water leaks on all brands of water filter housing o-rings, in addition to preserving the integrity of your o-ring. You can reuse your o-ring as long as it is not damaged. Silicone Lubricant is safe and easy to use. Other types of lubricants are not recommended for o-rings, because they can actually stretch and distort them. Provides a chemical barrier coating, with low volatility, good resistance to most chemicals, excellent resistance to water, and low vapor pressure.
