- Designed for masonry flue application. Not suitable for metal chimney. Fits outside tile dimensions (inches): 11.5 x 16.5 to 13.25 x 18.5
- 24 gauge powder-coated galvanized Steel hood with scalloped corners and roll-formed edges, 18 gauge 5/8 inch 100% galvanized Steel expanded metal mesh.
- Slotted hex-head Steel mounting bolts for easy, durable installation. Outside mounting provides greater free air space
- Expanded metal mesh turned inward at base allows cover to rest firmly on flue tile, closing any openings to protect against nuisance wildlife.
- WARNING: Install 5/8” mesh ONLY when required by local regulations or officials. 7 year limited warranty.
The Black Galvanized Steel Draft King chimney cover is the durable and economic choice for chimneys in most regions. Like all Draft King chimney covers, the outside mounting design provides maximum free air space and better draft while the attractive powder coat finish helps it stand up to the elements. Made with a 24 gauge galvanized steel hood with scalloped corners and roll-formed edges, 18 gauge 5/8" expanded galvanized steel mesh, 14 gauge galvanized steel base and slotted hex-head bolts. Seven year limited warranty.
