Tyr is `the invincible warrior of the Nordic pantheon, and far older than all the others of Asgard.` Tyr is the god of single combat, victory and heroic glory in Norse mythology, portrayed as a one-handed man. He is said to have sacrificed his right hand to help bind Fenrir, the wolf who, when set free, is destined to devour the Sun. This solid bronze Norse Tyr pendant is from Dryad Designs and artist Paul Borda. The pendant measures 1 inch high, 7/16 of an inch wide and 7/16 of an inch deep, with a bail capable of handling a necklace up to 5mm wide. It makes a great gift for friends and family.
