Recessed dryer box, the dryer can now be pushed up against the wall of the laundry room instead of having to be positioned 5" to 6" away from the wall in order to accommodate the dryer duct. The duct will also be completely protected from crushing and lint build-up will of course be minimized due to the limited bends. Dryer box also has the additional features of a built-in draft blocker to help reduce cold air backdraft into the home as well as an oval to round duct adapter which requires no clamps to connect to the duct and eases installation.
