This is a generic post-motor HEPA filter and rubber gasket for ALL Dyson* DC07, DC14, DC15 models. This filter should be replaced at least once every 6 months. If you notice that your Dyson* has lost some of the suction since you've had it, cleaning the filter should be the first place to start.

Included with this Dyson DC07 / DC14 Post HEPA Filter are 2 Free Rubber Gasket Filter Seals, generic for Dyson Part number 908682-01. These filter seals are installed on the bottom of the filter and help seal the replacement filter to the base, ensuring a completely sealed filtration system! Most all other replacement Dyson DC07 / DC14 filter sold do not include these seals, and installing your Dyson HEPA filter without them will cause a noticeable increase in dust particles leaking back into the air. 2 Half circle seals are easily installed by removing the adhesive cover, and sticking them directly to the filter on both sides.

The HEPA filter should be replaced once every 12-16 months, depending on how active the home is. Homes that have allergies or breathing issues such as Asthma will greatly benefit from replacing this filter as frequently as every 6 months.
