This model kit contains all of the atoms and covalent bonds necessary to create some of our most essential chemical substances. The kit includes single covalent bonds and double bonds that connect to different atoms, and comes with a glossy color booklet illustrating and describing the 10 most common molecular structures. There are over 30 atom pieces to use such as oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, and chlorine that come in different colors to denote the type of chemical element each atom represents. Create a simple water molecule by bonding two hydrogen atoms to one oxygen atom. Or create a complex glycerol molecule so that you can see the amazing structure of this chemical compound in 3-D.
