ELFJMZP 4 Pin Molex to 6 Pin Video Card GPU Power Supply Cable PCI-E Male Graphics Card Adapter(Pack of 2)
Used to convert the power supply's 4Pin (large D-type) connector to a 6Pin PCI-E connector to provide additional power for discrete graphics cards. Solve the problem that the power supply lacks 6Pin graphics card power supply, avoiding graphics card performance drop or error report due to insufficient power supply. Only for graphics card power supply, not for CPU or other devices (different voltage specification).
Input: Standard 4Pin (Molex/D-type) male connector, connects to the 4Pin connector of the power supply. Output: 6Pin PCI-E male connector, directly plugged into the graphics card power supply port. Cable: 18AWG or 22AWG copper core cable, PVC insulation, high temperature resistance 80℃, flame retardant and safe.
A single 4Pin connector supports a maximum of about 54W (12V x 4.5A), which is needed to ensure that the power consumption of the graphics card is within a safe range. Adopt 3-wire transmission design (not missing wire) to ensure stable power supply and reduce the risk of voltage fluctuation. The outer PVC sheath is anti-oxidation and anti-bending to enhance durability.
Cable length: about 18cm Scenario: suitable for PCI-E graphics cards that require additional 6Pin power supply, compatible with most medium and low power consumption models. Restrictions: High-power graphics cards (such as high-end game cards) are recommended to use the power supply native PCI-E power supply, this adapter cable is only a temporary or auxiliary solution.
Before using, you need to make sure that the 4Pin connector of the power supply can provide enough power to avoid overloading. When plugging or unplugging, you need to hold the connector tightly to avoid damage caused by violent pulling. Long-term high load operation may affect the stability, it is recommended to upgrade the power supply as a priority (e.g. higher power consumption of the graphics card).
