- [WHAT IS KAIMAKI?] KAIMAKI is a KIMONO-like Futon comforter (kakebuton) with sleeves. Its Kimono collar and sleeves wrap your neck and shoulders warmly and prevent slipping off while sleeping. It has been loved in Japan for centuries, especially in cold regions. You can also wear KAIMAKI as a padded dressing gown at Kotatsu or couch. It is an energy-saving item since the good old days in Japan.
- [MADE IN JAPAN QUALITY] Carefully made one by one by skilled craftmen in Japan in traditional way of sewing and with selected materials. Velveteen black collar (Betchin-eri) provides soft touch and accent color, and an extra cloth on shoulders (kata-ate) is attached for durability. 100% natural cotton is used for both outer and inner fabric.
