- Size: This lap joint clamp joins a 2.25″ OD pipe to a 2.25″ ID pipe. The width of the strap is 2.94 inches (74.82 mm). Please accurately measure the outer diameter of the pipe before placing an order.
- Material: The clamp is made of a 304 stainless steel band, a zinc-plated M10 bolt and nut, a steel gasket, and an aluminum alloy I-block.

Lap-joint clamps are best when cosmetic appearance is important, as well as serviceability of the joint. This would include exhaust tips, mufflers, catback systems, racing exhaust, and show cars. This type of clamp is much easier to separate should a component ever need to be removed or replaced, so if disassembly is important, this clamp would be preferred over band or saddle clamps. This type of clamp does require that the sections being clamped have sufficient lengths of straight pipe leading into it. This clamp will not work properly if installed too closely to a bend.
