Allow the cast iron skillet to cool completely before washing it in hot soapy water with a sponge and a regular dish washing liquid soap. It is not dishwasher-safe.
- RE-SEASONING PROCEDURES TO STRENGTHEN THE SEASONING LAYER OF NEW CAST IRON SKILLET: 1. Wash the pans gently with warm soft sponge, dry thoroughly over low heat; 2. Smear a thin layer of vegetable oil evenly inside each pan; 3. Bake on low heat for 15 minutes, cool naturally, and repeat the process 2–3 times to form a solid seasoning layer; 4. Advise avoiding tomato sauce, vinegar and other acidic food in the next 3–5 uses, and cook with medium-low fire only without empty pan high-temperature heating.
