The Easier English for Dyslexics series is a visual aid to decrease learning time, enhance retrieval and increase retention of letters and sounds. This imaginative memory system employs pictures, colors, silly phrases and repetition to aid recall.

Easier English for Dyslexics 8 explains how to make the sounds of W, L and AW vowel and shows spelling patterns for each sound. A picture with a silly phrase – auburn dog brought to the Paw Walk – is used to help your child remember all the spelling patterns for AW vowel. Included are odd words where O and U are W sound, examples of W teaming up with vowel letters, and words with silent W and L. LE, EL, IL and AL endings also are presented with a picture and silly phrase.
