- This Bussmann series SC-10 time-delay fuse is a Class G, general purpose fuse.
- It is intended to protect low-voltage electrical circuits from power overloads and short circuits.
- Class G fuses are general purpose, current limiting fuses known for their compact size and as an economical solution for overcurrent protection.
- They are often used in panelboards, disconnects, and to protect HVAC branch circuits.
- For added protection, these class G fuses also have a "size rejection" feature to prevent you from using a fuse with a higher current rating than the circuit protection requires.
