Edelmann's Power Steering System filter will filter out the metal particles and rubber flakes which naturally occur in power steering systems. When installed with a new pump and hose, along with a proper flush, this filter will help eliminate power steering pump failures and keep the system working trouble free for many years. A large internal magnet attracts and traps the fine metallic particles and the advanced filter technology traps the larger floating particulates. It contains a safety bypass to insure that the flow of fluid will not be inhibited in a fully contaminated system. Works great to protect automatic transmission cooler lines also.
