- This is a very powerful deck that takes full advantage of cards printed in Magic's Lord of the Rings set. The deck focuses on building a massive orc army, meanwhile casting a number of creatures and spells with strong synergies to generate value as you overwhelm your opponent. The deck starts by casting a number of different spells that allow you to amass your orc army including Sauron, Gothmog, Grishnakh, Book of Mazarbul, March from the Black gate, etc.
- Mauhur helps grow this army even larger, and a number of cards synergize with the army including Ugluk (grows when the army or any other creatures die), Gothmog (grants the army deathtouch), Moria Marauder (play spells off the top), Sauron (ring tempts, card draw).
- The deck then adds a number of powerful removal spells including Smite the Deathless, Claim the Precious, and Foray of Orcs. This deck can very quickly overwhelm your opponent, bury your opponent in value, meanwhile keeping their strongest threats at bay through its many removal spells.
