Sink Twice expander kit only necessary for a few very large toilets. If your toilet tank (with the lid off) measures larger than 19.5" wide, you should buy this expander kit with your "Sink Twice" purchase. If your tank is a 1.28 GPF or 1.6 GPF AND measures 17" - 19.5", you should buy our BRAND NEW product "Sink Again" (and not this expander kit), UNLESS it is a RECTANGLE measuring more than 18" x 8" but smaller than 19.5" x 8.75", in which case you should buy the "Sink Bigger" model (and not this expander kit). If larger than this, please buy these expanders with our 17" model. The expander kit is easy to install in less than 10 minutes and basically plugs in to the underside of our 17" Sink Twice in an adjustable way for many different shapes and sizes of toilet tanks up to 21". Because our goal as a company is to save water, we recommend replacing toilets that have tanks larger than 19.5" inches but for existing toilet tanks from 19.5" - 21" (measured with lid off), we do recommend purchasing this expander kit. The kit does get our 17" "Sink Twice" so that it can work effectively on toilets all the way from 13.5 inches wide up to 21 inches wide. This part is not completely obsolete, but has now largely been replaced by "Sink Again" and "Sink Bigger."
