Installation details are recommended:
Take the trunk liner partially off, remove that inside handle. (9/32 socket) Once the latch is exposed, remove the two torx bolts, slide it back and it will come off the hangers. One wiring harness that comes off with the press of a tiny flat blade screwdriver.
You will need to transfer over the emergency release cable which entails just popping it out of the old one and into this new actuator. Make sure the electrical connector is fully plugged in.
Pretty simple to install only took about 20 minutes, recommend buying the tool to take off plastic rivets off of trunk liner.
