It attaches to a Foredom or other flex shaft with a standard key tip shaft. Shaped like the popular H.44T, it has a unique, rugged textured plastic barrel and tapered aluminum tip. The Chisel Handpiece is recommended for use with the 1/6 HP SR Series, 1/3 TX Series motors or another flex shaft with a standard key tip shaft in forwarding rotation only. Foredom's C.EM-1 Dial Variable Speed Control is a tabletop manually controlled speed control, constructed of heavy-duty plastic with durable solid state electronics. It has a dial control for precise speed settings, as well as good repeatability of previous settings. The use of this dial speed control is highly recommended when working with the chisel handpiece, in place of the more common foot pedal. The Dial Speed Control will run at a steady speed within the recommended speed range. Carvers can set and maintain any desired speed when connected to a dial control.
