The barrel is made of black resin, polished to a high gloss and has a distinctive parquet design due to a laborious laser-engraving process. The end cap and tip are made of highly polished chrome plated metal. The metal clip is spring-loaded. The break-resistant 1.4 mm lead is degree hardness B = 2 and is smooth for writing and sketching.
