- Premium Quilt Batting: Fairfield Quilter’s 80/20 Batting is an 80% cotton and 20% polyester blend of quilt batting with a low loft. The super-soft batting, needlepunched for strength, is easy to needle through and ideal for both machine and hand quilting.
- Batting for Quilting: Our breathable cotton-polyester blend batting is especially popular among hand quilters as it features a smooth drape and accentuates stitch work. The quilt batting yields a flat, traditional look.
- Safe to Use: Fairfield’s Quilter’s 80/20 Batting is safe for use in your creative projects; there is no need to pre-soak the batting before use. Our quilt batting does not beard, shift, or gather. The easy-to-use batting is made in the USA.
- Quilting Supplies: The projects created using this batting are washable, allowing effortless maintenance for your prized creations; the estimated shrinkage is only 2–3%. Our quilt batting is great for making clothes, quilts, and art and craft projects.
- Size Details: Fairfield Quilter’s 80/20 Batting measures 72" x 90" and weighs 3 oz./sq. yd., making it ideal for twin beds, travel-sized projects, and hanging quilts; the loft is 3/16", with the recommended quilting distance being 2"–4".
