Marques broke onto the R&B landscape in the early 90's with the HipHop/R&B boy group Immature/IMx, and proceeded to release 6 albums with the mega Boy band over the next decade. Houston then embarked on a solo career in 2003 and has since released 5 studio albums totaling over 1 million units in sales. Marques is also a well-known screen actor, having been featured in seven films and two TV shows. Additionally Marques has collaborated with music industry heavyweights such as Destiny's Child, Jermaine Dupri, and 50 Cent.

Marques 6th studio effort is entitled Famous. A buzz single and video, Speechless , have already been leaked and quickly built awareness that Marques Houston is back.
