The Metal Earth models are amazingly detailed etched models that are fun and satisfying to assemble. Each model starts out as 4 inch square metal sheets and you simply pop out the pieces using wire cutters and follow the included directions to assemble your model. London Bridge refers to several bridges that have spanned the River Thames between the City of London and Southwark in central London. The current London Tower Bridge, which opened to traffic in 1973, is a box girder bridge constructed from concrete and steel. It replaced a 19th-century stone-arched bridge which in turn superseded a 600-year-old medieval structure. This was preceded by a succession of timber bridges the first was built by the Roman founders of London. It has become an iconic symbol of London and was featured in many films such as the 2009 Sherlock Holmes movie. The model is 5.45x0.8x2.2 inches when built. Difficulty Level: Challenging.
