The Metal Earth models are amazingly detailed etched models that are fun and satisfying to assemble. Each model starts out as 4 inch square metal sheets and you simply pop out the pieces using wire cutters and follow the included directions to assemble your model. This early bicycle design called the Penny-farthing was first produced about 1870. It used an enlarged front wheel instead of gears to create greater speed and a smoother ride. It was the first machine to be called a bicycle. The model is 3.4x1.2x2.9 inches when built. Difficulty level: Moderate. No glue or solder needed.
