Fendall Porta Stream I 6-Gallon (22.7 L) Refillable Secondary Emergency Eye Wash Station (with 70 oz. / 2.07 L Saline Concentrate)

The Honeywell Fendall Porta Stream I self-contained eyewash station can be mounted on a wall, stand, or mobile cart for placement near most workplace eye hazards. It provides six minutes of uninterrupted flushing for removing dust and particles. This eyewash station holds up to six gallons of flushing solution, which can be pre-mixed saline solution, buffered saline concentrate diluted with water, or additive with water (all three sold separately). The station comes with a 70-ounce container of saline concentrate. The gravity fed flow starts immediately after the nozzle strap is pulled off, leaving the hands free to hold the eyelids open. The nozzles cover a wide area around the eyes for effective removal of dust and particles. The station measures 22-1/2 x 15-1/2 x 13-1/2 inches (H x W x D). (H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.) The operating instructions on the station are in English, and the instructions on the saline concentrate container are in English and Spanish (Mexico). This self-contained eyewash station supplements primary stations that meet the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standard Z358.1-2009 for emergency eyewash and shower equipment.

The flushing fluid used in portable stations is typically a preserved, physiological saline solution that must be periodically replaced. Eyewash stations are required by government agencies responsible for occupational safety, such as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and are found in industrial facilities, construction sites, and hospitals, among others.
