While Flashpoint Studio R2 Series flashtubes are designed to deliver much more than 100,000 pops, conditions of use, power cycling, and exposure to vibration contribute to the real lifespan of a monolight flash tube. A typical flashtube, in top shape, can be in service for over 250,000 flashes.Never touch flashtubes and bulbs with your bare hands. The natural oils from your skin will deteriorate the bulb's lifespan. Always unplug the strobe and clear the capacitor before changing the flashtube.
