- Required for Flex-A-Lite belt-driven fan installations, this aluminum spacer is designed to correctly position a belt-driven fan for optimal cooling
- Features a large load-bearing surface and is machined to a soft radius around the edge to prevent stress cracking on the radiator fan center star; Includes the bolts and washers needed to install the cooling fan and spacer
- Use up to three 1-inch automotive fan spacers to achieve the proper fan position and prevent damage to the fan
- Car parts spacer comes with a one-year manufacturer warranty and is the perfect companion to your engine
The Flex-a-lite fan spacer kit is best when used with Flex-a-lite belt fan. Belt driven fans perform best when they are 3/4" to 1" from the radiator's surface. Whenever original equipment fan clutch is removed from the engine, a spacer needs to be added to bring the new fan back into the "sweet spot" in the fan shroud opening. Multiple spacers may be used, up to a maximum of 3 inches.
