Fluval G3 Mechanical Pre-Filter Cartridge, 2 Pack
- Designed to trap suspended debris in fresh or marine aquariums (mechanical filter media).
- No-bypass structure captures and traps debris until cartridge is removed and rinsed.
- Helps remove the accumulation of waste and debris.
- Promotes improved chemical and biological filtration efficiency.
- Helps prevent water from becoming dirty or cloudy and helps eliminate harmful ammonia buildup.
The Fluval G Mechanical Pre-filters are daily use cartridges for the Fluval G3 Advanced Filter and will trap suspended debris for effective mechanical filtration in fresh or marine applications. Designed as a no by-pass system, debris remains caught between each pleat until it is removed and rinsed. For extended use it is recommended the cartridge is cleaned at least every 2-3 weeks.
