- 4TH-GEN PREAMPS WITH 69dB GAIN AND -127dBu EIN: Most home interfaces audibly hiss at maximum gain. The 2i2 4th-gen preamps don't. -127dBu equivalent input noise sits below what a quiet room contains, and 69dB of clean gain covers low-output dynamics through the high-output condenser in the box. 24-bit/192kHz RedNet-derived conversion adds 120dB of dynamic range. The recording captures the performance, not the interface coloring it.
