Friends of Mine

Through a series of interrelated and concise narratives, this novel follows a group of four women from the same neighborhood in Buenos Aires and pays homage to the solidarity of their friendship from childhood through middle age. Although they are neither famous, exceptionally beautiful, nor paragons of virtue, these women are rendered unforgettable through Ángela Pradelli's poetic eye for detail and by highlighting the importance of the quotidian rituals that demarcate their lives.
