- Dogs have a lot of energy so they need to consume it somehow otherwise it can lead to destructive activities like desire to chew shoes, destroy furniture, dig holes, chase his own tail, bark all day etc.
- The time you spend with your dog will define your relationship so be patient and try to work on this bonding.
- If you are wondering between harness and leash, choose the leash, at least until your dog will learn how to walk beside you. Even if the harnesses are more comfortable for the dogs, it gives the dog power to pull with his entire body and that will not help with its discipline.
- When entering and leaving the house keep in mind to always be in front of your dog, this will strengthen the fact that you are the dominant part in its mind.
- If you see that he/she is not always keeping the direction you want or he/she tries to walk slower/faster use this trick: change the direction 180 degrees when he takes the lead. Do this constant and firmly without exceptions and he/she will finally get used to pay attention to your intention.
