Description

  • GAVR-8A is a Automatic voltage regulator and forms part of the excitation system for a generator.
  • SENSING INPUT: Voltage: 110/220/400VAC, 1 phase 2 wire. Voltage Build-up: Residual Volts at AVR terminal >5VAC
  • POWER INPUT: Voltage : 100~260VAC, 1 phase 2 wire. External Volts Adjustment: ±7% with 1K 1 watt trimmer.
  • Voltage : Max 90VDC @ 240VAC input. Soft Start Ramp time: 2sec.
  • Current: Continuous 3A, Unit Power Dissipation: Max. 8 Watt. Intermittent: 5A for 10 secs. EMI Supression: Internal Electromagnetic Interference Filtering.
  • Resistance : 15 ohms minimum, 100 ohms maximum, thermal drift: 0.03% per °C change in AVR ambient. Under Frequency Protection: 60Hz system presets knee point at 55Hz. REGULATION: <±1%.
  • With Under Frequency Protection, Soft Start Voltage Ramping. Built-in High Capacity 8 Amp Fuse
