- This is the stain that has the most "finishing feel" of all General Finishes' products
- Woodworkers love the lustrous finish that shows up
- Heavy-bodied, and so does not penetrate as deeply into the wood as liquid oil-base stains do
- Can help you get a more even appearance on difficult woods such as aspen or pine
- Easy-to-use stains simply wipe on with a cloth or applied with a foam brush (no spills or splashes)
General Finishes Gel Stains and Topcoat open up a world of easy-to-achieve possibilities for revitalizing, changing color, or achieving a beautiful finish for wood furniture, cabinets, and floors. Just wipe these oil-based gel products on with a foam brush or lint-free cloth, and wipe off the excess. The heavy bodied gel flows evenly (no drips or runs) for consistent color control, minimizing uneven penetration that causes blotching. Optional sanding between coats and a quick recoat time combine to produce an excellent "hand rubbed" look in less time with less effort. Available in 11 colors, General Finishes Stains can be combined with each other in any proportion to create custom colors. For extra durability and protection, use General Finishes Gel Topcoat or one of General Finishes' water-based products - PolyAcrylic Top Coat or High Performance Polyurethane Top Coat.
