- These small rotary tool attachments work great for detailed wood sanding, because the flexible design forms to the objects surface. These sanding bits also work well for rust removal, or paint stripping, because of the durable abrasive material. The standard 1/8 inch shank, is used by dremel and other rotary tools. These sanding mops (AKA sanding stars) are more flexible and can conform slightly better than a typical flap wheel.
- The discs are made from KlingSpore’s Gold edition sandpaper. They are Aluminum Oxide on J-Flex Egyptian Cotton Backing, they have a Resin to Resin bond, with a Semi-open Coat, and are resistant to loading.
- This 1” inch 220 grit kit includes 100 circle discs and 3 mandrels (with 1/8inch (3.175mm) shank). It is made for stainless steel and high alloy metals, but it also works well for wood. It is often referred to as a “woodturners dream paper”.
- The circle design is slightly more aggressive than the spiral design.
