The vocals are so on point that shines throughout the album, which combines perfectly with the beautiful strong arrangements and production. "Whip It," "Let Me Love You," and "I Can't Help It," points to the concept of funk working on the disco scene but extending into grooves that are smooth, wild, and sexy, all at the same time.

"I Can't Help It" peaked just outside the top twenty on the US R&B Singles Chart whilst the album became a showcase, by charting both in the Top 20 on the Billboard Jazz Albums and the Billboard Top Soul Albums charts. Michael Henderson makes the bass talk and the versatility on his vocals will just leave you going WOW!!
