GoodSense Premium Blood Glucose Test Strips for Diabetes Monitoring, 50 Count
- OVER THE COUNTER: For use at home by persons with diabetes or in a clinical setting by healthcare professionals, as an aid to monitor the effectiveness of diabetes control.
- TEST TIME: The GoodSense Blood Glucose Monitoring System allows you to test your blood glucose level in 6 seconds.
- DIABETES: Diabetes is a disease that occurs when your blood glucose, also called blood sugar, is too high. Blood glucose is your main source of energy and comes from the food you eat.
- INSULIN: Insulin, a hormone made by the pancreas, helps glucose from food get into your cells to be used for energy.
- EFFECTIVE: GoodSense test strips contains glucose oxidase enzyme with a redox chemical mediator that produces an electrochemical signal in proportion to the glucose concentration in the blood sample. The blood glucose meter measures this signal using dynamic electrochemistry to correct for common analytical interferences such as hematocrit.
