These are essential pieces to discover the talent of this great composer, and are beautifully rendered in this recording. "Good Night" is not really my style, it's a bit long and sleepy, but it provides a welcome contrast with the overflowing energy of the other two pieces. Gorecki is a fantastic composer who deserves to be known for more than just his famous third symphony.
