Round, organic stone shapes are made from ethically sourced wood to resemble smooth river rocks. Crafted in Europe, the Pebbles Blocks are perfect for all manner of building, stacking and balancing challenges. Creative kids will find many uses for these wooden stones, including decorating seasonal displays and designing imaginative play scenes. Perhaps a stony bridge for little dwarf dolls, a cave for small figures, or to construct little rock cairns for a fairy's garden! Variations in wood grain, color, knots, and texture are all natural occurrences in these handcrafted wooden toy. These unique blocks are perfect companions to Grimm's Large and Small Elements of Nature Stackers, which include Fire Flames, Earth Caves, WaterWaves, Air Rainbow and Little Flower.
Made from FSC-certified linden (aka lime) wood. Linden is a warm, honey-colored wood with a great medium density that's not too heavy for small hands. The Pebbles blocks are shaped and smoothed, then colored by hand in non-toxic water based stains, which leaves a pleasing matte finish that is perfect for stacking. This finish allows the natural wood grain to show through on the surface, and prevents the blocks from slipping easily when building and stacking.
Fun to combine with Grimm's Large Gems or other sets of Pebbles blocks for more extensive balance games or size sorting. Available in multiple color styles: Moss Pebbles (greens), Fire Pebbles (reds-yellows), River Pebbles (blues), Dream Pebbles (violets) and Flamingo Pebbles (pinks).
4 Pebbles per set, measuring approx. 2.3 to 4.7 inches wide and 1 inch high. This toy is baby safe, certified non toxic, and meets Waldorf standards.
