Guitar for Students: A Method for the Classrooom and Private Student (USC Thornton School of Music Guitar Instructional Series)

This beginning guitar book, for use with private students or in a classroom setting, is divided into 15 lessons. Beginning at the complete novice level, the lessons guide players thru learning chords, scales and more advanced techniques. The appendix of the book offers scale, chord, and fretboard diagrams. This text is currently used in the beginning guitar classes at the University of Southern California.
