- 💪 The Hercules SC-590 is an industrial quailty, air-cooled hotknife designed for continuous-use cutting of styrofoam, including expanded polystyrene (EPS) and extruded polystyrene (XPS).
- 💪 The cutting temperature can be approximately controlled by using the temperature control dial on the handle. Fifteen heat-intensity graduations ensure the proper temperature for any job.
- 💪 The 9.5-foot 110-volt cord allows you the freedom to move around your workspace. It's not as flexible as a cordless cutter, but it's close!
- 💪 The Hercules SC-590 Electric Hot Knife has a built-in fan which provides continuous cooling, allowing the unit to be used non-stop for your entire project, instead of forcing you to stop every 15-30 seconds to allow your cutter to cool.
- 💪 The SC-590 kit includes everything you need: SC-590 cutter, one 4" and one 6" flat blade, cleaning brush, hex wrench, durable molded plastic carrying case and instruction booklet.
The air-cooled Hercules SC-590 Hot Knife Foam & Styrofoam Heat Cutter is a heavy-duty hot-knife foam cutter that is air-cooled so it can run continuously, which means no wasted time waiting for the unit to cool-down between cutting sessions. Uses NWFW wire-band blades that can custom formed to most any shape. Maximum 1' of wire only. Variable power control and 190 watts of cutting power! The 9.5 foot heavy duty power cord is 3 feet longer and more durable that the cord on the Engel HSGM Hot Knife. Complete kit includes Hot Foam Cutter Knife Tool, 4" & 6" Hot Knife Foam Cutter Blades, Original Hot Knife Blade Adapter, Case and Hot Knife Cleaning Brush.
