HEXBUG Tarantula

The Tarantula features a mesmerizing eight-legged walking mechanism that gives this complex robot its graceful, smooth-walking stride.

The HEXBUG Tarantula has a translucent design that exposes the electronics and mechanisms so you can see it work. Allows full-control of forward, backward and turning motions. The two-channel remote also enables two tarantulas to be controlled independently or multiple ones in unison. This HEXBUG was inspired by Dutch physicist-turned-artist Theo Jansen.

Includes a two-channel infrared remote control that allows the user to independently operate each side of the Tarantula's legs.

HEXBUG Tarantula is compliant with CPSIA standards. Ages 8 plus.
