- For DIY thermoforming: Holstex Carbon Fiber Textured Sheet is very similar to both Kydex and Boltaron in the way it forms when heated and molded around an object. Once cooled, this material will keep the shape of the item that was used to mold the shape into place. In its cooled state, it is very durable and light weight.
