  • MATERIAL OF CHUCKING REAMER: This reamer is constructed from high-quality HSS M2 Steel for durability and longevity. M2 High Speed Steel - HSS M2 ensures sharp and fast execution in most hard steel material for clean results, while provides good wear resistance in mild steels and non-ferrous materials.
  • TAPER DESIGN: The taper design ensures gradual and accurate hole expansion, providing a smooth finish. The tapered point design allows the reamer bit to enter non-linear, overlapping holes to align bolt holes. Enlarge the holes in the steering knuckle and linkage arms.
  • SPIRAL FLUTES & SAFETY STOP: Equipped with spiral flutes to aid in efficient chip evacuation, reducing heat buildup and improving cutting performance. Left Helix/Right Hand Cut sheers chips away from operator. Safety collar stop to prevent over penetration and operator loss of stability
  • VERSATILE APPLICATION: Designed for aligning an existing hole and enlarging undersized hole. This Taper Chucking Reamer Kit can increase the taper to facilitate hole access, especially drilling larger holes in the link arms and steering knuckles.
  • MORE APPLICATION: Enlarge or align existing holes through mild steel, alloys, aluminum, wood, plastic, fiberglass or any similar hardness material prior to rivet or bolt installation. Commonly used in bridge, construction, steel erection/fabrication, and automotive (truck & trailer) industries. Up to 3/8"(10mm) thick mild steel for impact driver or 1" (25mm) thick for Magnetic drill press. Notice: it requires existing hole or a pilot hole would be needed.
  • CHUCKING SHANK: Round shank with 3 flats to prevent slipping in the drill chuck, safety flange/ stop collar to prevent the reamer running through the hole.
